Route 6  Motorsports is owned by Bernie Katz. It's parent company, BJ Motors, is one of the largest used Dodge Viper Dealers in the country. Route 6 Motorsports was created in November of 2006 as a speed and performance shop, filling a gap that had been left void when a well known tuner left the area to go to a warmer climate.

Your goals are our goals. We are based on Dodge Vipers and SRT platform vehicle. Bernie worked with Archer Racing and Autoform Development in his early years and raced Dodge Vipers and Porsches. In the 7 years of racing and instructing, Bernie compiled a deep knowledge base and extensive contacts in the performance industry.

Our track record is impeccable, building the first naturally aspirated 426 New Hemi Legend Stroker Motor in our 2006 SRT 8 Charger pumping out 700 ft pounds of torque and 630 hp to the crank. That is quite impressive driving a four door to work that will eat most sport cars for lunch. The company is driven on high standards, great communications and quality work.
