We sold this VooDoo to its second owner in 2018 with 1,282 miles and are thrilled to have it back in our inventory with just over 6,475 miles. As part of the Viper’s last year of production, Dodge produced just 31 VooDoo II Edition ACR’s, with this one being #11 of that run. In 2019, the car received Calvo Motorsports’ CM700 Heads and Cam package as well as their custom Oil Cooler and upgraded .80 5th Gear. Other upgrades include a slew of Xtreme Supercars Carbon Fiber upgrades, Teamtech harnesses, red-painted tow hooks front and rear, and a fire extinguisher mounted in front of the passenger seat. Dodge’s venomous Viper saw its final year of production in 2017. To celebrate this milestone, Dodge cooked up five serialized special editions, all of which sold out in just two days! Buyers of the regular-production 2017 Viper have an almost bottomless well of color choices and options from which to choose, all adding up to more than 50 million possible variants. Against that almost inconceivable array of possibilities is the ACR Voodoo II Edition, the specifications for which were set in stone from the beginning: black exterior paint with a graphite driver’s-side stripe bordered by red pinstripes; the essentially track-only Extreme Aero Package that generates 1,700 pounds of downforce via a front splitter flanked by dual winglets and a huge rear spoiler, of which the size outdoes even that of a GT1/Trans Am racer; earth-gripping bespoke Kumho Ecsta ACR tires on black 19-inch alloy wheels; and carbon-ceramic disc brakes. Even without the “VooDoo II” front-fender badges, it would be impossible to mistake this for any other Viper, which still relies on the formula Dodge has developed to its final incarnation. The long, gaping nose is home to Dodge’s largest-displacement, highest-torque, production engine—the all-aluminum 8.4L/645 HP V-10—joined in duty by Tremec’s robust TR6060 6-speed manual transmission. The Viper’s all-independent double A-arm suspension with adjustable Koni coilover shock absorbers can be set in one of five modes, the stiffest of settings maximizing the effects of the Extreme Aero Package to create a genuine track monster. Thankfully, the Viper’s ACR interior—here boasting black leather and grippy Alcantara upholstery with silver stitching—keeps passengers in place through the most forceful maneuvers, serving up a track experience like no other.
