What does consignment mean?Consignment is a sales agreement between you and BJ Motors, LLC. We are, in effect, acting as your agent in order to sell your vehicle.
Do I have to send my car to BJ Motors?
No. Although it is not a requirement in a consignment agreement to transport the vehicle to our location (even though it is free!), it is more likely to sell faster in one of our two showrooms (located in Texas and Virginia). Not only are we able to give a better description and take the necessary photos ourselves (saving you the leg work), we can also send out additional digital pictures when requested by perspective buyers. While here, the vehicle is also available to buyers that visit our showroom daily.
What information about my car do I need to provide?
BJ Motors, LLC. requires the following information in order to post a consignment listing: Year, make, model, mileage, asking price, location of vehicle, VIN #, and the contact information of seller (name, address, phone, email).
How long will my car be listed? All listings are posted for a period of six (6) months. Once sold, your vehicle will be removed to make room for new inventory. If your vehicle is not being shown in our showroom, you are obligated to inform BJ Motors, LLC. when your vehicle is sold. Please keep us informed as to the status of your listing during the six month term, that way our site can continue to be accurate for our visitors. We encourage the use of our free vehicle pickup in order to retain it at our facility until sold.
